| Job Description | • Building new DBA servers in both production and Non-Production environments.
• Building new MySQL servers in H/A with replication in both Production and Non-Production environment.
• Creation of new databases/ instances in DBA and MySQL in both Non-Production and Production environments.
• Daily monitoring for space usage, memory usage, CPU usage, IO usage, fragmentation issues, DBA db2diag.log for typical DBA issues.
• Daily monitoring for space usage, memory usage, CPU usage, IO usage, fragmentation issues, MySQL slow query logs and error logs for typical MySQL issues.
• Responding to all kinds of production DB alerts (like space usage, long running sql, tempspace usage, tape issues) for both MySQL and DBA databases.
• Responsible for database backups, database restores, performance of the databases in both DBA and MySQL environment.
• Handling planned and Unplanned DBA and MySQL database outages.
• Secondary skill: Oracle
