Job DescriptionAs a Senior Sales Engineer, the individual will be responsible for driving a network technology driven pre-sales process, providing technical support, product demonstrations and information to key prospects, customers, and partners. The Senior Sales Engineer will also support the network design and architecture process in conjunction with the company's Engagement Management and Professional Services Team.
Skill RequiredHas strong network system administration experience and is very familiar with IP protocol, DNS, ISC BIND, MS DNS, and DHCP - Strong understanding and experience configuring LINUX, UNIX and Microsoft Server operating systems - Extensive experience with Layer 2/3 hardware - Basic scripting capabilities (Perl, shell) are a plus - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Duties & Responsibilities: - Provide technical pre-sales support - Deliver on-site technical and WebEx presentations - Function as the key technical resource in the development of network design, architecture, and cost models to support quotations and engineering changes
