Job DescriptionActivity details: • Perform application “discovery and verification” as a pre-package function. • Create application packages in the Windows Installer format (MSI) •The process and end product must be auditable. •Packaging queues for the XP migration and normal BAU must be able to be managed separately.
Skill RequiredQualification: • 3/5 years experience in application packaging for Windows Installer. • Experience in Visual Basic scripting. • A strong understanding of software deployment tools. • Past experience with a Windows 2000 to XP migration • Proficiency in Spanish and English Language. Excellent Oral and Written communication skills • Must be strong team player. • Outstanding Customer service skills required Technical Skills Required: Skills: • Essential o Windows 2000 and Windows XP Professional o Windows Installer technology specifications o Windows MSI Best Practices o Macrovision AdminStudio Enterprise version 7.5 o Macrovision Workflow Manager 3.5 o VB Scripting/Windows Scripting o Microsoft Compatibility List o Adminstudio, Trouble shooting tools , ORCA, HP OVCM, TPM, • Desired o Software deployment in SMS, Zenworks, or HP Radia Windows 2000 to XP Migration Certifications: Adminstudio, Installsheild certifications in Packaging will be a plus.
