| Job Description | Oracle database administration, maintenance & ongoing day-to-day operations support including installation, configuration, upgrade, patching, troubleshooting, performance tuning, backup and recovery. |
| Skill Required | The ideal candidate will have experience in:
•Installing, configuring & patching Oracle software versions 10g & 11g
•Upgrading Oracle software version from 10g to 11g
•Installing, configuring & patching Oracle RAC 10g/11g
•Oracle ASM (Automatic Storage Management) installation, configuration & administration
•Modify the database structures, as necessary, based on information given by application developers
•Backing up and restoring the databases using RMAN & snapshot
•Organize / perform support and trouble shooting for Oracle Database Server and Oracle products
•Oracle 10g Grid OEM for administration, monitoring & performance analysis of Oracle instances
•Basic working knowledge of Linux, Sun Solaris, AIX & Windows 2000/2003 Operating Systems
•Unix shell/Perl scripting
•Working collaborative in a team environment
•Working in cross-functional project teams
•Must have good level of English Language
