| Job Description | Conceive and develop strategic plans for Human Resources insure the continued competitive position. Oversee the HR team efficiently, effectively and within budgetary guidelines and legal obligations and develop strategies for improved HR processes, policies, programs, services, systems and tools developed locally.
Develop strategies and provide support to the VP of HR and Managing Director by implementing, promoting and communicating HR strategy.
Support Managing Director in business goals and improvement while developing, recommending and/or implement HR initiatives to support and maintain the strategic objectives of the organization.
Provide support and advise in all HR issues, plans and transactions at a strategic level.
Develop plans and drive change management initiatives to improve the business through appropriate HR tools and skills.
Ensure compliance with laws related to employment, and ensure that policies, procedures, compensation practices and reporting are in compliance.
Plan and execute the implementation and administration of the Company’s performance management, succession planning, employee development and objective setting policies and initiatives.
Implementation and coordination of training programs and provide counsel, technical knowledge and support to management.
Recommend, develop, implement and oversee the management of compensation and reward policies and programs.
Plan and execute high-level recruitment initiatives.
Develop high-level strategies for defense of employment related legal claims, in consultation with the legal team and strategies and activities in sensitive employee relations issues.
Oversee the HR back-office function, and make recommendations regarding the purchase and use of the HRIS and improve and manage the use of country HR intranet site. |
| Skill Required | University degree in an appropriate area, graduate degree preferred. Coupled with 10-12 years experience in all aspects of Human Resources Management : recruitment, training & development, management, administration, compensation & benefits, legislation (at least 5 years of strategic level work and 3-5 years in a Mexican HR administration role).
Experience in cultural diversity between Mexico, USA and Europe.
Well organized and possess knowledge of all HR disciplines on a strategic level with a successful track record in leading teams, staff and colleagues in change situations.
Strong organizational, coaching and developing staff through positive support initiatives, while building a motivating atmosphere.
Ability to build trust, respect and confidentiality with a good balance between firmness and diplomacy.
Willingness to be hands-on and practical approach when appropriate and have demonstrated initiative, work under pressure and set high standards.

Financial and organizational analyzing skills.
Excellent communication and relational skills to be able to work efficiently with all levels of the organization.
